BRITISH COMMITTEE FOR STANDARDS IN HAEMATOLOGY

Guidelines prior to 2010 used the classification of evidence and grading of recommendations as devised by the US Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR). Guidelines published from 2010 onwards have used the ‘GRADE’ nomenclature.  More details of the grading systems used can be found below.
